Downtown Rocky Mount Receives 2024 National Main Street America Accreditation
Downtown Rocky Mount has achieved a significant milestone by being designated as a 2024 Accredited Main Street America™ community. This recognition is a testament to the community’s commitment to building revitalization programs, fostering strong public-private partnerships, nurturing economic opportunity, and preserving historic places, and cultural assets.
“The downtown development team has worked tirelessly over the past year to create and execute a plan that would activate development, accelerate growth and reinvigorate excitement downtown. It is such an honor to see our hard work and dedication come to fruition and be honored with this prestigious, reaffirming achievement”, said Downtown Development Manager Tanika Bryant.
Achieving Main Street accreditation is no small feat and speaks to Downtown Rocky Mount’s hard work and dedication to building a thriving business district. We are excited to continue our efforts in revitalizing our downtown community and creating a vibrant and sustainable district for all.
